Due to the pandemic, country participations in particular often face great challenges - all the more reason to be pleased about the numerous registrations, which will open up numerous networking opportunities for you on site:

Supporting program
The usual varied supporting program awaits you.
The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) is meeting to discuss the transformation of food systems. In addition to the climate crisis, species extinction and Covid-19, the situation is also coming to a head due to the war in Ukraine. The biggest global food crisis since the Second World War is looming. At the GFFA, more than 2,000 international representatives from business, science, civil society and politics will discuss how the transformation of food systems can be shaped.
The Startup Days will take place from Jan. 24-25, 2023, on the ErlebnisBauernhof stage in Hall 3.2. By integrating the event into the hall circuit, visitors will not only be able to experience the pitches of the young entrepreneurs:inside up close, but also follow the jury's decision-making process live. The startups that have made it into the final selection and will compete on site will be presented to you in the course of the next few weeks.
On Jan. 26, 2023, the Regional Star Award will be presented at IGW. Together with Lebensmittel Praxis, concepts with a regional character from trade, industry and agriculture will be honored that advance the marketing of regional products under sustainable aspects ("economically successful", "ecologically sensible" and "socially responsible").

IGW App
This year our IGW App will celebrate its premiere. It will be happy to support and accompany you in planning the trade fair in advance, but also during your visit on site. It offers information on exhibiting companies and products, a detailed program overview, useful trade fair information from A-Z, interactive hall plans and favorites lists. The app will be available for free download from Google Play and Apple's AppStore from December.
