Half Time at Grüne Woche! Today we have reached the halfway point of the 10 days of the fair. Today also marks the start of the Startup-Days on the new Grüne Woche stage in Hall 6.2a, looking for innovative ideas for the future of the agtech and food trend industry. The Regional-Star Award from Lebensmittel Praxis and the Grüne Woche will be presented this evening on the Bavaria Stage in Hall 22b.

The Flower Hall is a very special highlight for many visitors. Watch the video to find out what this year's motto "City of Colors" is all about and what special highlights await trade fair visitors.

A Federal Chancellor at Grüne Woche, that has only happened twice before. Olaf Scholz was the third yesterday. On his tour, he met young farmers - and made them a promise. However, the current political mood is certainly tense, not least due to the farmers' protests of recent weeks. That is why Olaf Scholz did not miss the opportunity to meet and talk to industry representatives at Grüne Woche.

Innovative startups from the agtech and food industry will be pitching on Grüne Woche stage from today. Almost 30 young companies have applied for the Startup Days at Grüne Woche and a jury has selected the 10 finalists. They were able to impress with their products and projects for the future of agriculture and nutrition and will compete against each other in the final pitch today and tomorrow. Grüne Woche is organizing the Startup-Days for the sixth time this year.

The Hessen-Halle is all about green sauce and its seven indispensable herbs. The popular Easter dish with egg and potatoes will be served there with ingredients from regional businesses. Creative producers also use the herb mixture from the region to make organic ice cream or gin.
