Our tour starts in Hall 20 with the federal states of Thuringia and Lower Saxony. In Thuringia, visitors can discover the “Drei Gleichen” castle world. They will also be greeted by market stalls and regional delicacies. A special highlight is the young start-up ot ku'thür, which has innovative clothing made from wood. Lower Saxony invites all guests to feast on sustainable and creative food: Culinary highlights such as potato sushi, roast potatoes with kale pesto or the “Birdy Beer”, which supports the protection of native birds, can be sampled here.

The tour continues in Hall 21a in Brandenburg, where visitors can discover classics such as Spreewald gherkins, Beelitz asparagus and sausage specialties as well as creative ideas such as eggnog with activated charcoal and mustard-ground chocolate. The Brandenburg Hall is also a platform for young companies and innovative products that represent the Brandenburg region.

Saxony joins Brandenburg in Hall 21b and, with Chemnitz as the European Capital of Culture 2025, will be setting a special highlight with the motto “C THE UNSEEN”. Sachsenhalle also has something for every culinary taste: In addition to fermented drinks, craft beers, potato snacks and pinsa, visitors can also get inspiration for their next trip to Saxon vacation paradises such as Leipzig's Neuseenland or Saxon Switzerland.

Just how exciting the capital city of Berlin is can be seen in Hall 22a. The Berlin Senate Department will also be represented at Grüne Woche 2025 with a start-up island featuring innovative young Berlin companies. A stand on Berlin's food strategy will show how food waste can be reduced. In addition, the “Kantine Zukunft” project supports Berlin canteens in offering more fresh, regional and sustainably produced food.

Directly opposite in Hall 22b, Genuss aus Bayern invites you to enjoy a traditional delicacy experience live and with all your senses. In addition to cheese specialties from the Allgäu and Franconian wine, the Entenwirt beer garden is also very close by. Brass bands and traditional folk musicians provide an authentic feeling. Specialties from all Bavarian regions as well as the “Servus Urlaub” presentation of the Bavarian tourism associations will be presented in the special “Genuss Bayern” area.

In Saxony-Anhalt Hall 23b, guests can look forward to the winners of the “Saxony-Anhalt Culinary” competition, including the Böllberger Brewery and the Roy coffee roasting company. Particularly exciting: the Altmark snail farm will be presenting snails as a superfood. In the “Rotkäppchen” adventure world, visitors can discover the history of sparkling wine and enjoy a glass. A visit to Saxony-Anhalt is worthwhile - and not just in culinary terms!

Once visitors have turned left, they reach Hall 5.2, which is shared by North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Wuerttemberg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In Hall 5.2a, North Rhine-Westphalia attracts visitors with sugar-free thirst quenchers for children, snack cakes without industrial sugar and exotic mushrooms grown directly in Cologne. Next door at the exhibitors from Baden-Wuerttemberg, guests can look forward to a culinary journey with winter highlights such as Maultaschen, Krautschupfnudeln and sweet potato soup. But there are also year-round classics such as cheese, sausage and game on the menu. Wines from the Baden and Wuerttemberg wine-growing regions complete the offer. The experience is rounded off with show cooking, traditional music and modern DJ beats - a combination of tradition and modernity. Mecklenburg-West Pomerania presents itself in Hall 5.2b with around 80 exhibitors and a varied program. Highlights include forest honey liqueur and delicacies from the island of Rügen. While the children get active baking bread, parents can find inspiration for their next family vacation in the countryside. A highlight is the regional day, this time organized by the Western Pomeranian region.

The last stop will take visitors to Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse in Hall 6.2a. Rhineland-Palatinate presents itself with six wine-growing regions. In the “Gold Quiz”, guests can not only taste wines, but also win prizes such as weekend stays in the wine regions. In addition to delicious wine, Rhineland-Palatinate also offers numerous nature and wellness destinations. In Hesse, regional classics such as Äppelwoi, Ahle Worscht and Grüne Soße await, with fresh herbs harvested daily on site and prepared by TV chef Rainer Neidhart. You can also sample various delicacies such as green sauce gin and ice cream, organic buffalo products and regional teas and oils.

In the Grüne Woche app you will find an interactive hall plan to help you find your way around. You can download it from the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
